Campus Description
Situated on 170 acres overlooking the Hudson River, The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is located about 75 miles north of New York City. For 60 years, the Institute has been committed to providing the world's best professional culinary education. Approximately, 3200 students annually pursue associate degrees in culinary arts or baking and pastry arts (21-month programs) or Bachelor's degrees in culinary arts management, baking and pastry arts management, culinary science or applied food studies (38-month programs). A private, not-for-profit educational institution, The Culinary Institute of America has 42 professional kitchens and 5 public restaurants to assure hands-on experience and 161 instructors from more than 20 nations.
