Campus Description
Founded in 1950, Mercy College is a private, not-for-profit higher education institution. Mercy College offers a quality liberal arts and professional education within its five schools: Business, Education, Health and Natural Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. Mercy College Manhattan Campus, is strategically located in heart of Manhattan at the Herald Square. It is convenient for everyone who either lives or works in New York City or the surrounding boroughs. The 22 classrooms, student lounge, learning center, library, computer lab and Roy Disney Studio for Animation Studies are available for you. Take advantage of career counseling and employment services, student clubs and organizations, honor societies and networking functions. Study options will include accelerated study, distance learning, ESL, honors, independent study, internships and weekend courses.

Sports
All athletics are run out of the Dobbs Ferry campus. All students at any campus are welcome to participate.
Mercy College is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level and a member of the East Coast Conference. The College offers intercollegiate, intramural and recreational sports. All full-time students (at least 12 credits) in good academic standing are eligible to try out for college teams. Freshmen who qualify under NCAA eligibility rules are immediately eligible for varsity competition, and transfer students are welcomed under provisions of the regulations of the NCAA. Men's athletic teams include baseball, basketball, lacrosse and soccer. Women's athletic teams compete in basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball. The baseball, lacrosse, soccer and field hockey teams, in addition to numerous local community high school and youth groups, play on a new, eco-friendly turf field on the Dobbs Ferry campus, overlooking the Hudson River.

Clubs and Activities
Mercy College has both Academic and Social Clubs available for students.
Our clubs are as diverse as our students-from art to dance to charity to modeling Mercy College pushes its students to strive for success in all their interests.
