Phillips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai Beth Israel
Campus Description
For over 100 years, the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing has been offering a quality hospital-based Associate in Applied Science degree nursing program. The School is located in the Chelsea section of Manhattan and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Students can pursue their education either full-time or part-time and receive transfer credit for comparable courses.
In the fall of 2014, the school initiated a RN-BSN program, uniquely designed to meet the needs of both new RNs and highly experienced nurses. New nurses will have the opportunity to gain advanced skills in clinical specialties - community, critical care or emergency perioperative nursing. Experienced nurses will be awarded 5 credits towards the degree if they possess designated certifications. The program can be completed in 15 months of full-time study.
For the fall of 2015, the school will offer a 15-month fast track AAS program with a smooth transition into the school's new RN-BSN program.
